Phys Rev A paper on dimensional crossover is Editor's suggestion

CQOS researchers have explored the crossover from two to three spatial dimensions for a strongly interacting atomic Fermi superfluid. The location of the maximum critical velocity in the quasi-two-dimensional regime is found to behave differently from its two- and three-dimensional asymptotic scalings. These predictions may be experimentally probed using Bragg spectroscopy.
